ABOUT THE LAWYER
Jordan M. Showe has deep roots in the Criminal Justice System. He has dedicated his life to helping those who call on him.
Jordan M. Showe graduated from The Citadel in 2005 with a B.A. in English. He then got a law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. While in Law School, Jordan got a volunteer job at the Jacksonville Public Defender’s Office. Spending much of his time at the inner city county jail, Jordan got to understand the cold reality of the system.
Jordan’s life in the Criminal Justice System was sealed when he got his first job as a lawyer at the Public Defender’s Office in Ft. Pierce and Stuart. While at the Public Defender’s Office, Jordan devoted his time going to trial on some of the most notorious and contested cases in local history.
After four years of intense high volume practice, Jordan was hired as an Associate for one of the greatest trial lawyers in Florida, Robert J. Watson. For four years, Jordan learned from the best. Complex and extensive litigation became Jordan’s norm.
Since opening his own practice, Jordan has adhered to the principles of efficiency and technique which can only be learned through years of labor.
Now, Jordan M. Showe continues to follow the vision set before him: free the prisoner and help the broken.
In addition to serving his clients, Jordan also serves his community. Jordan was a former chairman for both the Criminal Law Committee and Professionalism Committee for the Martin County Bar Association. As a part of his duties, he wrote a monthly article for The Sidebar magazine, which was widely read by lawyers and judges. He is on the Legal Redress Committee for the local NAACP office. Jordan also served as a member of the 19A Bar Grievance Committee for the Florida Bar.
